Guelph Musicfest 2021

Season 15 — September 17 to November 19, 2021

Musicfest Master Classes

For the first time, Guelph Musicfest will present master classes by the performers.

Master classes are advanced lessons by artists given to guest performers/students in public. The visiting artists in all of the November concerts will be giving classes on the Saturday or Sunday following their own concerts.

In the case of pianist Robert Silverman, he will present an entertaining and informative talk about J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, followed by a short master class. Master classes will also be given by the pianist Valerie Tryon, violinist Sadie Fields, and cellist Paul Pulford.

Details on applying/auditioning to perform in the master classes will be available soon. Tickets will be for sale to attend, although Guelph Musicfest series subscribers can come to the classes for no additional charge.

The information on this page will be updated.
